Know when

Watering, feeding and pest checks for each planting, worked out from what the plant needs, and when to sow, plant out and expect a harvest, counted from your frost dates. Watering that steps aside when it is going to rain, and tells you why.

Forecasts work anywhere: NOAA in the US, MET Norway everywhere else. Hardiness zones are looked up for US gardens only for now, and planting and care timings come from US extension services — outside the US, treat them as a starting point and check local advice.

Remember everything

What you sowed, when it came up, what you harvested, and what the soil test said. Kept as a history, not overwritten, so next spring you can see what actually happened last year. Your history is yours: download it as a file whenever you like.

Garden together

Invite a partner, a housemate, or the rest of the allotment. Stewards manage the garden, gardeners log the work, observers just look. Everyone sees the same beds and the same history.

What we will never do

Sell your data. Not to seed companies, not to anyone. It is a founding rule, and it is in the privacy policy.
Lock your data in. Export is always available. If paid plans ever arrive, downgrading will never delete anything.
Gamify your garden. No streaks, no XP, no badges, no guilt. The reward for tending plants is plants.
Hide uncertainty. When a forecast is stale or we do not have good guidance for a plant, we say so instead of guessing.
